Official description

Soldiers can advance to Knights imbued with holy power. Knights always lead the forces at the front line with their excellent defense, and can withstand attacks from stronger enemies.

Knights can equip heavy armor, such as plate armor, and large shields that can offer protection to most of the body. They can also wear head gear like full helms which cover most of the face.

Knights favor the use of a One Handed Weapon and a Shield at the same time. Although their attack strength may not be great, their strikes are fast and accurate.

Since Knights possess decent physical strength and high defense, it is possible to deal with stronger enemies when supported with magic skills that amplify their abilities.

When in a party, Knights can lead the battle and directly confront the enemy as the first line of defense. They are not only efficient in protecting party members, but they can also cast some support magic skills to aid party members from a distance.

Knights tend to specialize in the use of One Handed Swords for their speed and accuracy. They can also use Shields to block enemy attack and have support skills that increase the defense of the caster or party members, as well as other enhancements.

Endowed with the power of holiness, Knights have the strongest Defense Power of any job and are ideal at fighting battles at the front lines and protecting their comrades.

Becoming a Knight (Job Change Quest)

Once a Soldier reaches level 100, the player can talk to Darren in Junon Polis. He will give a quest that, upon completion, will allow the player to choose between transcending to Knight or Champion (i.e. Knight in this case). To complete the quest, here are the different steps that need to be taken:

• When your asked to find Leonard's missing sword in El Verloon Dessert, you will find it at coordinates: 5080,5176. That area is near the southwest corner.

• You will be asked to kill Supreme Krawfy Kings(on Kenji Beach) to obtain Lucid’s Crown. It can take anywhere from 5-30 kills. There are three Supreme Krawfy Kings along the coast line.

• Next you will need to collect all 5 Fragments of Lucid’s Sword from the Supreme Goblin Warriors in B2 of the Cave of Goblins. The cave entrance is located in Adventure Plains southern area. This can actually go fast, and can take anywhere from 5-10 kills.

• Then you will head over to the Gorge of Silence, and kill Supreme Stone Golems to collect Token of Friendship. It can take from 10-50 kills. So, be patient. There are ~6 locations where the Supreme Stone Golems spawn, and there respawn rate is ~3 minutes. Return back to Mairah when you have collected it.

Tip: Remember to use this guide as general info. The in-game quest(quest window) is most helpful. This guide is indented to assist, and may not be in the exact order. Make sure to read the quest window and talk to the correct NPC in order.

NPC Quests (Side Quests)

Some quests can only be done by Knights and are usually only available once a minimum level is reached. Those side quests often reward the players in both Exp and prizes. These types of quests are the same ones you may have done at a lower level, just tailored to the knight class.

There are many types of weapons that a Knight may wield. The main stat requirement for those weapons is STR. The following weapons are those that best suit their fighting styles.

Skills

Note: To obtain skill books, you can get them from the NPC Olleck Basilasi(Arumic Prophet) in the town of Luna. The NPC can be found at: 5359,5087, which is in the center of town, next to the blue warp porthole. You must first talk with him before you can buy the books.
