Lost Children

Description

This first chapter of the Hero Quest starts automatically after a player has completed one of the job change quests. Arua's Fairy will tell the player of some strange occurrences and directs them to speak with Francis in the Canyon City of Zant.

Walkthrough

1. Talk to Francis, who is located in the southwest area of the city.
2. Players then speak with Cornell, Keenu or Lena. The quest reward varies, based on which NPC the player chooses to speak with. Please refer to the bottom of this guide for details regarding the quest reward.
3. Visit Lampa, in the farm northwest of Zant. He tells you to look around Zant for the missing children. The location of the missing children depends on which of the three NPCs you chose earlier. Lena's child is in the eastern section of the map, Cornell's is in the northeast, and Keenu's is in the southeast.
4. Travel to the appropriate section of the map to locate the child. The child will be surrounded by a grey/green cloud. If you see the cloud but not the child, wait a few minutes for it to spawn. Speak with the child and release their soul to obtain a Soul Crystal.
5. Return to the NPC you chose earlier to give them news of the child and the Soul Crystal. You will receive your first reward: exp and zulie.
6. Talk to the same NPC again, and you get the Soul Crystal back.
7. Speak with Spero in the northern part of the city.
8. Visit Tryteh in the southwest part of the city. She will ask the player to collect some items for her.
9. Killing time! Hunt Mini Bees for 5 Mini Bee Stingers, HoneyBees for 10 HoneyBee wings, Woopies for 10 Woopy fangs. Mini Bees and HoneyBees are located in/around Zant, and Woopies are in the north/northeast area of the map.
10. Once you have collected all the items, return to Tryteh.
11. Speak with Tryteh again after giving her the items.
12. Return to and speak with the NPC you chose earlier to receive your final reward of exp, zulie and an accessory. The accessory is different for each NPC.
    • Cornell: +10 STR necklace (verified 13/06/2010)
    • Keenu: +10 INT ring (verified 8/7/2010)
    • Lena: +10 DEX earring

You cannot drop or trade the quest rewards, but you can sell them to NPCs.
