Strange Man

This quest is also known as the Man in the Red Robe.

• Starting NPC: Sharlin
• Level Requirement: 15 (?)
• Other Requirements: Completed previous Hero Quest (Mysterious Mushrooms)

Walkthrough

1. Talk to Sharlin, who is in the west part of Zant, she sends you to Karitte.
2. Talk to Karitte in Luxem Tower, she tells you to "talk to" (i.e. kill) the Pomics.
3. Kill around 10-15 Pomics, and eventually one will give you a letter. Take this back to karitte.
4. Talk to Karitte, and she tells you you have to kill the Poisoned Pomics.
5. Kill Pomics, around 50% of them will spawn a Poisoned Pomic. Kill 5-10 of these, and you will get a message that there are no # more poisoned Pomics. There is no quest item you get this time, so watch your chat screen of your quest screen.
6. Go back to Karitte.
7. Talk to Karitte, she sends you back to Myad. More walking!
   

   

   Spot to find symbolic necklace
8. Talk to Myad, he tells you too check out the mushrooms again, go there.
9. This time, go to the back of the mushrooms near the trees (5663, 5077). You will get a symbolic necklace after a pop-up. Take this back to Myad.
10. Talk to Myad. He will reward you with some exp and Zulie and send you to Mairard. Go there, he's at the other side of the village.
11. Talk to Mairard. He will send you to Gortein in Junon. Take the boat next to him, you can go for free if you choose option 4.
12. Go to Gorthein, he is in the southwest corner of Junon city.
13. Talk to Gorthein, he will give you a box which you will have to take back to Mairard.
14. Go back to where you entered Junon, and Itx will let you go on the boat for free if you choose option 3.
15. Talk to Mairaird to end part III. You will get a reward of exp, Zulie, and a Junon Mask, a mask with 30 charm & 30 attack power which you cannot drop or trade. The Fairy will contact you, and you're done with the quest for now.
